The family name of the Gyoma printing house's founder has been associated with beautiful books and high quality standards since the end of the 19th century. Imre, the son of Izidor Kner was not only a printer, but a real book artist. He is considered to be one of the founders of the Baroque and later the Classicist Hungarian typography. Between the two World Wars, Gyoma was an artistic workshop where the pride of the Hungarian literature and graphic scene appeared as creators.
